ABOUT Sejong University
Sejong University, a private institution in Seoul, South Korea, is renowned for its excellence in fields such as hospitality and tourism management, dance, animation, and rhythmic gymnastics. Originally established as the Kyung Sung Humanities Institute, it was renamed in 1978 to honor Sejong the Great, the fourth king of the Joseon Dynasty who played a pivotal role in creating the Korean alphabet, Hangul. The university comprises nine colleges: Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Natural Sciences, Life Sciences, Electronics and Information Engineering, Engineering, and Arts and Physical Education. It also includes a Faculty of General Education and seven graduate schools.
